Share Your Picture Perfect Memories
Submit your best camping photos from 2023 and you could win free camping in 2024!
To enter you must email your full resolution photos, with your full name and what you love about camping at Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat to marketing@umcamping.org (or use this form) Your submission means that you are at least 18 years old, the legal owner of the photos and the people in your photos have consented to have their photo be used on social media and marketing.
We’ll post the submissions on Instagram and Facebook. The winners will be announced in October.
Winners will be chosen in TWO categories — People and Scenic. Deadline is Sept. 15, 2023.
We’ll pick a grand prize winner in each category (people and scenery) along with at least one honorable mention.- Grand Prize: Two weekend nights or four weekday nights of camping in 2024.
- Honorable Mentions: One free night of camping anytime (July and August bookings must be accompanied by one paid night).
Hints: We love hearing your stories about camp. We love seeing you enjoying the campground, playground, beach, disc golf course, campfires, etc.
Terms and conditions: No purchase necessary. 18 years or older. By participating you are attesting that you are the rightful owner of the photo. You and the people in the photos are consenting to their photo being on Facebook or Instagram and possibly being used for marketing purposes by Lake Michigan Camp & Retreat and its owner Michigan Area United Methodist Camping. Photos must be received via email (marketing@umcamping.org) by Sept. 16, 2023.
2022 Winners
The Grand prize in the people category went to Breannon Marshal for their portrait of two children overlooking Lake Michigan at sunset. The Honorable Mention prize went to Sandra Barron for their adorable photo capturing a sweet marshmallow moment! We could not resist the cuteness!
The Grand prize in the scenery category went to Allen Husted for their stunning beach photo overlooking the stairs and a sailboat at dusk. The Honorable Mention prize went to Christie Rutter for their unique beach and sky photo.
