Making Friends in Christ is Sacred and Special

One young adult staffer blossomed last summer as he supported a differently abled camper at God’s Treasures Camp. In doing so he and an older adult volunteer bonded so deeply, they didn’t want to leave when camp was over. What a joy it was to see them share their faith and become friends.
A Wesley Woods parent told us their children learned to make lifelong friends at Wesley Woods. “When my kids are in crisis, the first people they reach out to are their WW family.”
A Michigan UMC pastor told us about his active youth group. While the students are highly engaged in his program, he finds spending a week at Wesley Woods living as Jesus taught us to live as the most meaningful.
